Your senior pictures will be cherished for years to come! You want them to be meaningful and treasured. Here are a few tips to help you to prepare!
1. Bring a variety of outfits.
Bring something classic that your grandparents will love.
Bring something fun and trendy! This style is all about you.
Be adventurous! Bring your prom dress or uniform from your favorite sport or hobby.
Vary your style. Don't bring all outfits in the same color. You don't want all of your pictures to look the same.
Be sure your clothes are ironed.
Avoid short skirts as they will restrict your movement.
Remember to bring accessories and shoes for each outfit.
Keep clothing visually simple. Try to avoid stripes. You want your face to command attention, not your outfit.
2. Make sure your hands are camera-ready.
Like your shoes, hands will frequently show up in your pictures as well depending on your pose, so be sure both are ready for the camera!
3. Practice makes perfect!
Practice your poses. The photographer will certainly assist you with poses, but the more comfortable you are, the better the pictures will be. Try out different positions at home in front of the mirror. Don't forget to focus on facial expressions and your smile!
4. Consider bringing props.
While your cap and gown and class ring are obvious choices, consider also bringing sports equipment, musical instruments that you play, a favorite chair or your pet.
5.Flawless Face
Don't worry about blemishes. We all have them. That's what Photoshop is for!
Ladies-do wear makeup a tad heavier than normal and bring along extra powder and lipstick. Wearing more mascara than normal (or lashes) will really bring out your eyes.
Guys-Be sure to shave the morning before your session.
Enjoy your Senior Session!
